I moved my cockapoo to McTaggart Vets a couple of years ago due to hearing good things about them and not receiving the best care from previous vets. I’ve had nothing but a great experience with them, anytime I call in a worry they will get him in (even the last time meaning the vet stayed on past her finishing time) all the staff are great and super caring including receptionist staff, vets and nurses. My cockapoo recently visited last week after hurting his leg in the garden and today I received a phone call checking up on how he was doing. 5 stars from McTaggarts😀

We have used Mctaggart vet for years they have always been very helpful and supportive with the care of all our animals. We had to put our beloved Dog Lexie to sleep today and we were supported through out the full process. Lexie went to sleep and was looked after with respect. I would highly recommend this veterinary surgery.

Absolutely amazing care from McTaggart Vets! My bunny Theo has been looked after so well — from treatment for stasis earlier this year to being neutered just yesterday. Anna was fantastic, calling me beforehand to talk everything through and answer any questions, which really put my mind at ease. After surgery, Theo started licking his stitches and they told me to bring him in right away — they checked him over and gave extra medication to help his recovery. I'm especially thankful to Anna for her kindness, patience, and genuine care… it really meant the world to me. You can tell she truly loves what she does and Theo couldn’t have been in better hands. The whole team are amazing — I’m so grateful! 🐰🩵

Recently moved to this vet practice and the amount of care and time the vets put into the animals and their clients is outstanding. Our older cat Niko was diagnosed with kidney issues and was quite unwell, he's doing better thanks to the treatment and advice from McTaggarts. Also brought my new kitten in and she was treated just as well, it's so nice to see how much the team genuinely love all the animals that come in the practice. Absolutely love this vets. The staff are fantastic with my 3 pets, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are very compassionate and treat my pets as if they were there own. I highly recommend this vets. Pets don't normally like going to the vets. But my 3 pets love going to the vets, they know they are going there to get better if they are unwell. Thanks to all the staff and of course Shona the vet for the great treatment my pets receive every visit.
