Seafield Veterinary Group, located in Keith, is a well-regarded clinic with a mixed reputation based on 180 Google reviews, yielding a 4.4-star average. The clinic offers a range of services, including a veterinary nurse training facility and emergency veterinary services, available around the clock or during extended hours.
The feedback from clients varies significantly. On the positive side, several reviews highlight the clinic’s empathetic and professional service. Bex Florence, who rated the clinic five stars, praised the reasonable pricing and attentive care, particularly noting the staff's empathetic demeanor and thorough post-operative follow-up for her dog, Hero. Irene Williamson also shared a five-star experience, emphasizing the clinic’s excellent service and the attentive care given to her Cocker Spaniel, Willow, after an emergency involving a swallowed toy.
Conversely, there are notable criticisms. Katy Cameron, a long-time client, expressed dissatisfaction with the rising costs following a change in ownership, suggesting that the focus has shifted more towards financial gain rather than pet care. Mandy Macdonald recounted a distressing experience involving the euthanasia of her pet, critiquing the lack of professionalism and perceived focus on profit.
Julia Anderson, initially a loyal client, reported a decline in service quality over the years, leading her to switch to another clinic. Her experience reflects concerns about some vets being overly focused on upselling services rather than prioritizing animal welfare.
Overall, while Seafield Veterinary Group receives commendations for its caring staff and professional service, it faces challenges related to pricing and perceptions of its focus, which potential clients should weigh carefully.

I have used seafield Vet all my life and my family's they have always been there for the animals but since been taking over by a company prices have rocketed the vets still care but are tied to company price they want everyone to take out insurance so they rake in more money Animals are going to suffer or be abandoned or killed because people can't afford ridiculous price.

Be Rey good experience so far. Reasonably priced. Very empathetic and friendly. The dogs actually love going to the vets. Hero came in to have some teeth removed. The definitely looked after him. And keep us updated at all times. Then called to check up on him the next day. Very good service

We recently had to call out the vet to our house when he arrived his first words were “why couldn’t you bring her in”. He then said to get her up which we couldn’t she was unresponsive. He then wanted to know old she was which was 14years and 1 day. He said he could put her to sleep at home but he would rather we went to the surgery so he picked her up and placed her in our car. They then phoned with a time to go in. When we went the lady vet was very unprofessional gave Daisy her first injection on the floor and left her there we asked about the table but she said no. Then we were told when it was too late that she was going to Livingston to be cremated. We wrongly assumed it would be a local company (which was actually cheaper also). This practice used to care for animals but now it cares more about the money.

We called as our 11 month old Cocker Spaniel had swallowed part of a soft toy. From start to finish we were given an excellent friendly and professional service. All staff were very kind and caring. Treatment and after effects were clearly explained to us and we stayed at the clinic with the vet checking her every couple of minutes until she was all clear to leave and the effects of the medication had subsided. We’re glad to say that Willow was back to her normal happy self by the time we got home.

Everyone is lovely, the Vets have been excellent and very helpful, I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. UPDATE... 5 years on and I have changed vets as the level of service from some of the vets was extremely poor, last time I attended the vet I got was more like a sales person than someone who is supposed to care about animals, they weren't informative about the surgery they were trying to sell me for my dog, that was the last time I was there, took my dogs to somewhere else that provides excellent care.
