Very happy with the vet's diagnosis and treatment of our labrador but rather surprised that there is a different consultation charge for holidaymakers. Not really sure why this should be the case.

DO NOT USE - Conanvets We have two dogs Eddie and Effie both dogs are French bulldogs Effie & Eddie had a terrible experience with these so called vets I wouldn't call them vets as they have no care for any animal and if you want to see them its £53 and 'Bring them back if they get any worse' 13th march 2025-- Effie was pregnant and when she was having her litter she was having difficulties the first pup had breached and could not be saved we accepted that it was nature and these things happen However the vet who was looking after us jagged Effie with an injection and told us to go home with Effie why would you let us go home if you know that the dog breached the first puppy ? on our journey home Effie did manage to pass a puppy which was alive and is a healthy puppy today We then waited at our home for the 3rd puppy to arrive and found out that this one was also breached we rushed back to the vets but again unfortunately this one had also died I want conan vets to acknowledge the gross misconduct of that vet who simply jagged our dog billed us and sent us on our way knowing that the breed has difficulties with natural birth and also me mentioning a c section might of been better for Effie which was ignored we nearly lost our dog that day because the vet wanted to get home as it was after hours why could they have no just kept our dog in there care ? because they don't care thankfully Effie survived 17th July 2025 - Eddie was itching a lot licking his paws so we took him to the vets to get him looked over AGAIN as we had been so many times before and to try sort the problem we were advised that he might be allergic to certain things (chicken etc) and that we should get him allergy tested so we agreed samples of blood were taken the fee of £764 was paid that day we waited for the test results to come back and indeed Eddie was allergic to certain things we were given medication at the cost of £53 for 20 tablets which we have found online for £15 with a online pet pharmacy Went in the surgery today as you need a prescription and they wanted to charge a further £21 for a signature Enough was enough advised the lady to remove both our animals of there register we have spent a lot of money going to these vets for check ups if the dog is being sick etc each time we have been charged and its gotten to the point where we do not think these people actually care about animals all they care about is money money money well no more money from me and I hope this review stops people from potentially getting robbed by your stupid business.

Always so helpful & polite, found them to be reassuring & prompt in helping over the phone giving advice as we live 60 miles away...highly recommend these vets. My GSD recently had surgery for cancer at a referral vets but Conanvet took the stitches out & were very helpful at managing his needs...

I am in Scotland for Holidays and my Dog got an eye inflammation. The Team and the vet were very Kind and helped us perfectly. They let my Dog time to adjust to the Situation and handled him with Care and lovely. Big recomment

Sadly we had to have our dog put to sleep in February. From the start of diagnosis to the end of her life, Conavets delivered a compassionate service. We weren't harassed for payment before receiving her ashes (as we did with Inshes vets for our other dog) we received her ashes 9 days after being euthanized in a beautiful woodland tube and the lovely touch of a brass name plate engraved. A very thoughtful and personal touch.
