I just wanted to tell you a little bit about West End Vet's. I am disabled and can not move about so easy. Karen and her staff go out there way to help me. They are so friendly and helpful. If I could give them Ten stars, I would. If your animal is sick and it needs a vet my advice would be to take it here.

After a few visits in a couple of days with a sad outcome I can once again say this vets practice is amazing. All staff members are friendly, helpful and compassionate. Nothing is too much trouble, everything is explained to you carefully. I cannot recommend west Edinburgh vets highly enough!

The best vet practice in Edinburgh by a country mile. Whereas most other practices are chains, the rip-off ones, this is a small independent. That difference is very noticeable in both the service and the cost. The staff, from reception to back room, are all extremely professional and pleasant and all the vets are superb. I have 3 dogs with medical needs, and a cat who’s healthy 🤞, and switching from my old vet to Karen and co has not only resulted in much improved care but also significantly lower bills. I have recommended them to all my friends

I am eternally grateful for the vets and the reception for saving Tonsils life (My dwarf hamster). I was very lucky to ring up a vet with doctors that also specialised in small/exotic animals and also how kind they were on attending me at closing hours, as my hamster unfortunately suffered a bug guinea pig accident where she managed to get inside their cage and get steped on ripping her in half. Luckily they waited for me and acted fast saving my hamsters life. After her surgery she received regular check ups to see how she was doing really helped her walk normally again and get better. I amvery grateful that she never had to suffer with the medicine they gave me, she is such a sweet little hamster and now she thriving in her enclosure thanks to them 🩷🩷🩷

West Edinburgh Vets have been brilliant with my puppy since getting him in November. We unfortunately had to use them twice before even having the “meet and greet” and they have been wonderful. All staff are so friendly and seem to genuinely care. Signing up to their plan has been really great value. Having them on WhatsApp and having the video vet has been brilliant too- putting my mind at ease/ getting my questions answered without having needing to call or visit the vet each time. Cannot recommend them more!
