For me personally thrums scone is the best vetenary practice around, staff always very friendly & helpful whether it be front of house Murray and girls or the lovely vets themselves 1st class service all round, We have always had a good experience & my dogs yogi & Stanley are always happy to go. Thankyou

We are delighted to have a local Thrums vet practice in Scone. We registered our 3 dogs at Scone, not long after the branch opened and we are pleased that it is well supported by the local community. In October last year, we nearly lost one of our dogs due to a natural toxicity (Pine Cones). It was 30’ before closing and we were off on holiday to St Andrews. Scone recommended we took him to Blairgowrie as they had aoh and overnight care. He was very sick, it was touch n go in the first 24hrs, but we were kept informed night & day of his progress and he made a full recovery m. Sadly we lost our Alpha Male of the pack in April due to an undetected spleen cancer. Thrums provided excellent support during a harrowing time for us. Currently our female has some post-op treatment going on after a wart was removed from the side of her eye, and she got some dental work and clean whilst under sedation. We’ll be back down at the clinic next week with some exciting news … extra paws are joining our family. Keep up the good work on behalf of our beloved family pets.

My dog and I had a wonderful first visit experience. From the friendly phone receptionist who dealt with my initial enquiry to the calm and welcoming staff who greeted us on our arrival, I could not fault the service. The vet herself was friendly and professional and put my nervous dog at ease straight away. I would highly recommend this practice and am delighted that we have chosen to be part of it.

Mr Jack had an incisor removed as, unfortunately, he cracked it earlier on and it went into the pulp, causing his pain and a weight loss. Thrums Vet in Scone were incredible understanding and efficient. Mr Jack is a bit anti social cat (he loves his mummy) and a visit to the vet causes him a great deal of stress, however Thrums Vets were incredibly professional and kept his stress to minimum - we had several repeat visits. I couldn't have been happier with the care Mr Jack received - he is now a happy cat again, crunching his dry biscuits and when he smiles his teeth are whitest white. Thank you, Thrums Vets!

This was my first visit to Thrums. I brought my cat who can be nervous of people and I haven't had for long. Everyone was so lovely and Daisy was quite happy to get examined by the very kind vet. Very reasonable prices too.
