Eilidh came to our home to put our wee cat to sleep. She was so lovely and compassionate. She helped ease my guilt about the decision and was very understanding. We are very grateful to have been able to say goodbye in our home with no stress for my cat and also allowing my other cat to say goodbye. I would definitely recommend this service to other pet owners.

My dog I’ve had for 17 years of my life passed a few weeks ago, couldn’t remember a time without her, and if it wasn’t for the lovely people of Kintra Vets, I think it would’ve been absolutely terrible. My dog, Snowey, was treated with such incredible care when it was her time. They spent time with her, making her feel completely comfortable and safe before they even attempted to administer the anaesthesia, and took such great care with her it was amazing. I really want to thank everyone here, I was in a terrible state that day as I cannot remember a day without her, and I was given as much time as I needed to hold her and say goodbye, and they went out of her way to give me a lock of hair and some paw imprints which I plan to get tattooed. I have been telling everyone I know not to go to the Vets, but to call out Kintra to let your pet go to sleep at home, surrounded by family, and there’s nobody who can make it a better experience in such a horrible time such as Kintra.

I contacted KintraVet because when it was time to say goodbye, I wanted my cat, Mr. Stripes, to be put to sleep at home. Jennifer treated Mr. Stripes with such care, giving him lots of belly and ear rubs alongside us. He was on my bed, in his favourite spot, and purred the entire time as the first injection gently sent him into a deep sleep. When we were ready, Jennifer helped him cross the rainbow bridge peacefully. I can’t thank Jennifer enough for the empathy she showed and how peaceful she made his final moments. I highly recommend KintraVet if you’re facing this difficult decision. Thanks again.

I was recommended this wonderful company by my own vet as we sadly needed a home visit to put my golden retriever to sleep after she lost her brave battle with leukaemia. From the initial call to register with Kintra to the compassion and professionalism of Eilidh who attended our home they were absolutely excellent from start to finish. They helped coordinate an individual cremation with another company and organised the timings of everything at short notice to minimise disruption to my family. We are so grateful and wanted to say thanks so much for your help during the most difficult of times.

Exceptional Care and Compassion – A Truly Outstanding Veterinary Practice I’ve been a client of Jen and her incredible team for several years now, and I can confidently say they are the best veterinary practice I’ve ever encountered. Their home visit service is not only convenient but delivered with a level of care and professionalism that is truly exceptional. Throughout the years, they have treated my dogs with the same love and attention they would give their own pets. Their compassion and dedication have always stood out, but it was during the most difficult moments that their support meant the most. When the time came to say goodbye to my two beloved dogs due to old age, Jen came to our home. Her presence brought comfort and peace during an incredibly emotional time. Being able to say goodbye in the familiar surroundings of our home, surrounded by family, was a gift. Kintra Vet is quite simply the best. Jen and her team are caring, compassionate, kind , understanding and knowledgeable. They took great care of my St Bernard Stanley throughout his life and at the end of it too. Yes it’s a little bit more expensive getting your vet to visit your home but in my opinion it is worth every penny. The level of service is second to none and my cat Nancy will continue under their care. Thank you Kintra xxx
