From the latest reviews available to us, experiences are mixed: several owners describe helpful, question-friendly staff and routine care like nail trims going smoothly, while others report serious concerns about communication, handling, and costs—especially around emergency-style appointments, medication charges, and billing consistency. Euthanasia support is described very differently by different reviewers (both “peaceful” and “cold/transactional”).

Got my dog castrated a few days ago, went in today to get his 3 day check up only to be 15 mins late as per usual and told by the vet he feared of infection internally and gave me antibiotics and more of his meds he was given after his surgery (free of charge) went to reception only for the young women to say that will be £42 and was honest and said I can’t afford that, can you put it on my account so I can pay next week when I come back in for his next appointment, she quickly hid the meds behind her and said well Olly won’t getting better we don’t do that, you go to a independent vet you get a bill after you get the treatment not before, where is the care for the animal here he is in pain and because I can’t afford it he has to wait that is animal neglect and cruelty here when it wasn’t my fault he has a infection internally. I went back a hour or so later only to be told that it was £32 not £42. Not the first time the receptionist had tried to over charge me when paying the last half of the operation quoting the final payment £172 to trying to charge me £250 when asked and she re calculated it, £172 was still the final quote unsure what is going on here if they make up the prices on the spot or not but I wouldn’t recommend this vet. Animal cruelty

Julian was excellent in his treatment of our poorly boy right to the end. On the final day he made the process so peaceful. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make but at least he didn’t suffer.

I had such a bad experience here. I don’t want to go into vast detail but my poor baby boy had to be put down here. The vet was extremely cold about it and couldn’t wait to shove a pamphlet in my face about cremation options. He wasn’t even cold yet. I regret coming here everyday, I wonder if he would’ve had a chance at a more professional and capable vet clinic. I will never know, but what I do know is that I would never trust bringing any living thing in here for treatment.
