Veterinary Centre

We have been with the practice for over 20 years and they have looked after all of our 25 dogs from birth to the last closing of their eyes. Their vets are considerate and empathetic and we have no hesitation in offering our pets to their care. The nurses and the admin staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Can’t fault this practice. Staff are very helpful, friendly, professional and accommodating. Had a couple of visits last week (Benny) and both vets were outstanding. Had to call back in a couple of days later due to an eye issue and received practical sound advice from the reception team. Well done, much appreciated.

Heather and the whole team have been absolutely fantastic. Our dog was very poorly and sadly reached the end of her life, but the care, compassion and kindness shown to her throughout was incredible. They kept her calm, comfortable and treated her with so much love and dignity. It was clear that the whole team had grown to love her almost as much as we did. Even out of hours, they went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and that we had the support we needed. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better care during such a difficult time. I would highly recommend Heather and the entire team to anyone looking for a vet who genuinely cares about both their patients and their owners. **Edit:** I feel the need to comment on the 1-star review regarding cost, as I think it is incredibly unfair to judge veterinary care purely on the cost of the materials involved. When you go to the dentist and have a white filling, the material itself only cost a couple of pounds — but you aren’t paying £2 for the filling. You’re paying for years of education, training and expertise, the professional carrying out the procedure, the staff supporting them, the equipment, the premises and all the costs involved in running a safe and professional service. It’s the same with a plumber: the cost of the pipe is only a tiny part of what you’re actually paying for. You’re paying for their knowledge, experience, time and the business they have invested in to provide that service. Veterinary practices are no different. You’re paying for highly trained professionals, their expertise, the equipment and facilities, the staff and, most importantly, the care and responsibility involved in looking after someone’s much- loved family member. Having experienced that care first-hand, I genuinely couldn’t disagree more with that 1-star review. The team went above and beyond for our dog when we needed them most, and they deserve recognition for it.

My pet Labrador Bailey has been treated at Uddingston Veterinary Surgery for 10 years with several problems including having had an eye removed. Right from the ladies on reception to the vets themselves Bailey is treated like he was their own pet. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Really couldn’t recommend the veterinary centre more!! Every single member of staff me and my partner have dealt with have been so kind and helpful and you truly see the genuine love and care all of these people have for animals, we trust them fully with our kittens and wouldn’t take them to anyone else. They really are the best about❤️

Staff are friendly and professional

This is a well run and staffed veterinary practice. The vets are extremely capable and all the staff, reception and nurses offer a friendly and helpful service. On site parking is available.
