Ivybank Vets really look after our five dogs, they assist with any urgent issues quickly, the staff are without exception friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Whatsmore they take time to get to know and understand the issues, personalities and foibles of your pets. I particularly recommend their pet health club where you get all your vaccinations, worming, flea treatments and some decent discounts on various procedures. Best of all is complete peace of mind with free consultations. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent vets who always provide the best of care. My big boy was there yesterday for routine health check & vaccination booster. He is always really excited the moment he realises thats where we're going. He loves the warm welcome, treats, attention and cuddles at reception. Vets always excellent and understanding that he is a bit of a wimp once in the consulting room and give him plenty of treats and reassurance. Wouldn't trust anywhere else to look after his health.

Don't go near them lost our wee girl recently after operation for stones in bladder they told us wee one was Fine- took her home she would not respond in any way lay in her bed we believed operation and anesthetic was to blame and she would be better by morning we sat with her all night but she never changed in the morning she was violently sick I called vets to then be told by nurse Yvonne there was no appointments available this nurse was the one who took my girl to operation so she was well aware how serious it was - only Kilmarnock available but not till later afternoon-i did not have transport at that time so I was informed by this nurse- just get a taxi then -I could not believe how uncaring they were we eventually got our wee girl in so much pain to Kilmarnock when we got there the vet apparently from Irvine had worked on our girl during operation she wanted wee girl to stand up and as she did fluid came out of her stomach where stitches were vet said she never seen that before took our girl for scan came back 40 mins later to tell us she very poorly and would need intensive care I asked would the operation need to be done again yes was reply I then asked would she survive got no reply at that we just could not let her go through all that again she had went through enough so we had to let her go peacefully we were broken hearted we then had vet ask us to make decision if we wanted her to be buried or cremated we chose cremation and now we have her with us -but next morning we got text from ivybank to remember and put in second claim for insurance for all the work they did night before so uncaring it was all about money for them even when collecting ashes there was balance to be paid they made sure they got that first don't go near them - RIP Lola xxx xxx our wee girl xxx 8yr old December 2025 miss u so much dad mum max

I am giving a one star as there is not a button for zero stars. This vet is the epitome of everything wrong with the big conglomerate UK Vets and issues reported on ITN News. They are secretive and non-transparent. Refused to disclose pricing to my husband for medication, prescriptions or monthly injections which we needed to know so we could put our dog back on the specific treatment he requires but they could charge £66 for a consultation, no doubt with the same vet that likes the sound of her own voice and repeats everything she says back to herself. We don't want a consultation until we are ready for an informed discussion! We only want prices! Until the conglomerate vet practices are held accountable and are regulated better my advice is not to go anywhere near them. Talk about Rip Off Britain. This is rip off Ivybank!

Will not be back at this joke of a "vet" all they are interested in is your money don't care about your animals just see pound signs take your pets somewhere that actually cares.
