Had nothing but support from the experienced staff here for decades now. Treating animals is always hard as they can't communicate the real pain or problem, but I've always found the vets and staff here to try their best to help the animal. They know they're family, and they treat them like family. Keep up the good work folks., and thank you.

We’ve recently had our dog diagnosed with epilepsy and we cannot thank the Glenythan team enough for their support, care and advice. From when they took our call and told us to bring her in to just explaining the options and getting the right meds for her. 100% recommend the practice and thanks to all the team there.

Excellent service and would highly recommend. On holiday in the area we had to get stitch and staple removed from our collie, who had had a minor surgery before we left on our trip. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Fitted us in quickly and we didn't have to wait. Great service and around 1/3 of the cost quoted by the other vets in the area.

We can’t recommend Glenythan Ellon Vets enough. As owners of 3 dogs, one of which is particularly nervous and anxious, they have worked extremely hard and have provided a lot of support not only face to face but also over the phone at times. We have also found their prices to be very good. A special thank you to Katrina and Suzy, who are not only very knowledgeable, they have gone the extra mile and have provided free socialisation sessions for our nervous dog who was terrified of going to the vets is now relaxed enough that she can have a full health check.

I have had dogs and cats all my many days. In all my travels I have never had the good fortune to have had veterinary care of the standard we receive at Glenythan Vets. I have two large dogs with complex skin problems. Alastair has been amazing. Being open to homeopathic and alternative remedies , he has worked wonders for my dogs. His knowledge and patience is outstanding. He has spent a huge amount of time researching my dogs' conditions and possible remedies, often making long telephone calls to me to discuss and explain alternative treatments. He also treated a huge lump which suddenly appeared on one of my dog's paws and successfully operated to remove the lump from a very difficult area of his pad. It is a huge comfort to have a vet in whom I have complete trust- who has such a wonderful empathy with his patients - and who explains and discusses every move with me.
