We switched vets many times before finally settling with Ashgrove. Our malamute was getting old, had arthritis in his back legs, but was still lively, going on walks, and eating well. One of the vets was more interested in taking our money than treating him, another threatened us with calling the SSPCA if we didn't put him down in a week! When we switched to Ashgrove we were scared and desperate. They prepared us for what came 4 months down the line when things got worse, but didn't force anything and did their best to make him as comfortable as possible all the way to the end. We cannot thank them enough for giving us more time with him and for being professional and understanding.

STAY AWAY! GROSS NEGLIGENCE AND FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION I strongly warn all pet owners against Ashgrove Veterinary Centre. My 10-year-old dog, Foxi, was subjected to TWO general anaesthetics within 5 weeks, and both times the surgeons failed to remove the specific masses we pointed out. Despite paying over £2,600, the primary health issues remain unaddressed. Their own IDEXX histopathology report (Ref: 1011070806) proves their incompetence. Instead of the masses I requested, they removed easy, benign lipomas and tissue containing "intralesional suture material" from their own previous failed surgery. To make matters worse, after two surgical failures, the practice owner had the audacity to suggest a THIRD paid surgery to fix their own mistakes. Risking a senior dog’s life with repeated, unnecessary anaesthesia for financial gain is medically and ethically indefensible.

We had an emergency with our dog and came here from Germany on very short notice. The team helped us immediately and very professionally. Everyone was extremely friendly, competent, and took great care of our dog. We are very grateful for the quick and excellent help. Thank you to the entire team!
