Telemedicine is also used in practice; one rescue describes an online consultation that produced a thorough treatment plan for an avian flock.

We recently used Fife Exotic Vets & had a tele consultation with Dr Bronwyn. Avian vets are rare (we usually have a 2hr round trip to our 'local' avian vet), so on this occasion we wanted to access an appointment quickly & Fife came highly recommended by another rescue organisation. The online appointment was really easy to access & we made a thorough treatment plan for some of our rescue flock. From the point of phoning for the appointment, through to the appointment itself, our birds were treated with compassion & respect. We really valued the support received & would highly recommend all the team at Fife!

What a wonderful practice and visit with my rat Badger. Badger has breathing issues, very common in rats. Very understanding and caring consultation. Michelle was lovely and Beth. Thank you both. Definitely the place to visit with rats.

We had an emergency situation with my African grey and drove there at night from Edinburgh, because it’s not easy to find an exotic vet available out of hours. We were lucky we chose Fife exotic vets. The doctor helped us quickly and with the great professionalism.

I recently got a Sulcata tortoise and I visited for a health checkup to make sure our guy was ok and potentially get him chipped. He was too little to be chipped but the vet i met was lovely, so helpful, gave lots of great care advice and instructions. They have a little garden at the side with tortoise safe food you can pick freely. First visit but I must say very impressive. Would recommend this gets to anyone. Very competitively priced also.

An amazing practice with exceptionally caring and skilled staff. My guinea pig was referred there after becoming very sick with an obstructing urethral stone. They operated and saved his life, and have given fantastic aftercare and the most detailed discharge home instructions that I have ever seen! Having had guinea pigs for over 20 years, I can honestly say they are second to none and I am so grateful to them all.

Dr Bronwyn is super passionate about her job and takes the time to check everything about my pets care, to make sure she's living her best life and that she's properly getting cared for. When I visited for the first time with my leopard gecko for a health check up when I first got her, she went through her enclosure with me to perfect my husbandry. Top notch attention and incredible care
