I couldn’t recommend the hospital for small animals and the team highly enough. From the very first appointment the staff took excellent care of my accident prone greyhound. Angus was fantastic and took great care of our boy. He had a dental and the procedure and aftercare was excellent with Angus. He then began seeing the wonderful Maaike who he adored for his regular acupuncture sessions and I just knew he was in the best hands. We sadly lost our beloved hound in November and we were blessed to be under the care of Fiona who couldn’t have been kinder during our hardest time. Not only will your pet receive the best care at the hospital, you will also meet some wonderful humans who go above and beyond.

I know my Lexy is in good hands each time we have an appointment. Each and every staff member is so friendly and kind. They always go out of their way to explain certain things which seem complex to me. Albert is an amazing vet and happy he is taking care of Lexy

We are still not out of the woods but wanted to reassure anyone who has to take their beloved pet here as an emergency that these people will do everything they can. My cat Winston was feeling poorly and not eating too well. After taking him to my normal vet (Dundas Veterinary Group: never again) they told me his creatinine value was 1200 which is not good. 24 hours of fluids and no pain management, only trying to get him some gabapentin via food which he wasn’t eating and his condition was not improving and second blood panel showed 2300 creatinine. I didn’t want to give up especially since no imaging had been done so we received a priority referral to the small animal hospital and the treatment and bedside manner has been night and day. Winston was put on antibiotics, fluids and imaging was done among other things. These things take time and as of this morning his kidney values are back to normal ! Even if things do not end the way we want, I am so comforted by the fact that my cat is getting the absolute best care. Thank you to Joel and Esther and the team for taking such good care your patients and their owners.

Our precious basset hound was given the highest level of medical support when she needed it most after suffering paralysis from a slipped disc. The continuity of care from start to finish has been exceptional. Even in a very busy hospital, staff provide undivided attentive support to put your mind at ease. These people are truly preforming miracles on a daily basis. Nessie is eternally grateful 🐾

We are truly grateful for the exceptional care and service provided here, especially thanks to Albert! He was incredibly patient in explaining our cat Chichi's condition, walking us through each step of the process in the initial consultation. His clear explanations helped ease my anxiety and built my full trust in the team. I knew right away that Chichi was in great hands. Throughout Chichi’s stay, there was consistent and transparent communication, which we truly appreciated. We feel so fortunate to have Albert as our vet, and we’re relieved that Chichi didn’t require surgery for any serious injuries. I couldn’t be more impressed with the team’s professionalism and, most importantly, their genuine love and care for animals. Thank you so much!!! Sending love to you all 💕

We attended this Hospital after having a really bad experience with Glasgow and we cannot fault them. Our dog had an Adrenal tumour with cushings disease and needed this removed as it was compressing her vein. Having read how risky this operation could be we were worried sick but Sofia who we dealt with couldn’t have been more helpful. We had so many questions and she always got back to us very quickly with all the information, nothing was too much trouble. The Senior Surgeon Kathryn Pratschke also took time to help us make a decision putting our minds more at ease and we couldn’t have asked for better service. The Vets were just wonderful and were so gentle with our girl who can be very nervous and wary of people she doesn’t know. They kept in touch with phone calls and emails with pictures while Holly was staying with them and she was home with us after a couple of days now resting. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

These guys are amazing. My dog was in for an operation, but she has dodgy kidneys, which could make the operation more complicated. She was in for 4 days, I had at least 2 phone calls each day from the surgical or nursing team. What I picked her up there was a comprehensive set of post op instructions, dressings and meds. If you are unlucky enough to have to take your beloved pet here, be reassured they could not be in a better place. I want to add, thank you to all the staff for the wonderful loving care you gave Roxy xxx
