I can’t praise Ferguson Veterinary Clinic enough for their professionalism, care and friendly staff. The care my dog Tilly received was outstanding after injuring her ankle from a fall and had to get a metal plate put into her leg. From the minute you walk into the state of the art building you are greeted so warmly by the receptionists, on meeting the surgeon Lachlan he took the time to explain everything, the operation he performed went smoothly, I can’t thank him enough. The veterinary nurses were fantastic, gave us updates with photos on Tilly’s progress, they are all so kind and caring. Everyone at Fergusons Vet Clinic are superstars.Thank you all.

My mini dachshund was rushed in with stage 3 ivdd we had to travel 240 miles to get there. The care and compassion was amazing. Communication and updates were wonderful

Highly Recommend!! This is a very late review as our first contact with Ferguson Veterinary Clinic was in November 2025 and we are due back tomorrow for a follow up and review with Dasher but I had to make sure that people heard what an amazing, caring team this is! I contacted the practice by email following reviewing a research article that had been undertaken by one of the partners. They didn’t have to respond….but they did…an I couldn’t have been more grateful! John Ferguson contacted me and spent so much time talking to me and giving me reassurance at a time when I had lost all faith in vets and the veterinary profession. He was genuinely interested and wanted to help and I felt safe trusting my best friend’s wellbeing in his hands…..so much so that we drove 2 1/2 hours, stayed for 3 days in a hotel and 2 1/2 hours home. John was amazing….he took the time to explain everything and no question felt stupid. Dasher was so well cared for, they kept us updated with phone calls and even a picture and a message on the night time from the nurses to let us know she was ok…..it meant so much! We are doing the round trip journey again tomorrow for her follow up and review. John didn’t have to ring me that day….and even after all his advice and time he spent explaining my things to me, he didn’t try to get me to go up to Scotland as he understood the length of journey and advised of nearby services….he genuinely cared! He is a credit to the veterinary profession and he has restored my faith that there are those who genuinely care. So, in a nutshell, Ferguson Vet Clinic is amazing, the care and passion is evident from the minute you walk through the door and highly recommend them….even if you have to travel like us! Thankyou John and Ferguson Vet Clinic for everything you have done for us and Dasher! (See you tomorrow!)

All five of my fur babies are registered with Ferguson Vet Clinic, and we’ve had many appointments and surgeries with them. Every single experience has been outstanding. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed by friendly reception staff, followed by kind, compassionate veterinary nurses and vets. The level of care and support I’ve received for both myself and my pets has been truly appreciated. After each surgery, my pets were given follow-up check-ups, and I always felt comfortable calling the clinic for advice or with any concerns. If you’re looking for a vet that genuinely puts your pet’s needs first while also supporting owners every step of the way, then Fergusons is definitely the place for you and your fur babies. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely beautiful inside ... but more importantly how wonderful the staff were at the front desk you were met with a big smile they were so friendly and very helpful 😀 10/10 Our consultation with Lachlan was first class he left no stone unturned he covered everything without us having to ask any questions about our beautiful Bonnie's operation. He also operated on her the same day. She got both cranial cruciates ligament done they had to cut both bones and implant metal bone plates with screws they also had to address the meniscus which is the shock absorbing cartilage on her left leg. 10/10 I would also like to thank all the nurses they were fantastic. The bedtime picture at 10pm was very comforting aswell as updating us on how our fur-baby was feeling.10/10 After a two day stay Bonnie got to go home 😃 again we didn't have to ask any questions before we left as the nurse covered everything about the aftercare and took all our worries away 🙏10/10 We can't thank you guys enough. We most definitely would highly recommend Fergusons Veterinary Clinic for your beloved animal 10/10

We were referred to Fergusons by our local vet when my puppy was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. We had gone quite quickly from a slight limp to something serious, and I arrived at Fergusons quite shaken. They were just brilliant, and have been throughout. All the staff were kind, calm, and above-and-beyond helpful. Mr Ferguson, the surgeon, explained incredibly carefully and with real compassion. He and the vet nurses had some very pragmatic suggestions for getting through the recovery stages. They put up with my noisy, boisterous pup with great grace. The reception and admin staff were also fantastic and Fergusons also submitted insurance claims on my behalf (super helpful, and very quick). Communication was excellent. We are now in the last stages of recovery, the pup is now 9mo old, and I will be forever grateful for all that Fergusons have done. The first off-lead run along the beach was total joy for both of us, an absolute gift.

Fantastic experience as first time user. Reception were very attentive and knowledgeable. Taken on time and consultation was not rushed. Was made to feel comfortable and reassured leaving my dog with them. Communication was top class staying in touch with me with regular updates and photos throughout my dog’s stay. All staff appeared highly skilled, friendly and more than happy with service. Cruciate ligament surgery went well. Would definitely highly recommend.
