I was with Riverside for a great many years but it went downhill after it changed hands. They didn't even tell their clients that the practice had changed hands which I thought a little underhand. I started to feel that they were pushing treatments - trying to opt too quickly for scans, bloods, etc and back-tracking when questioned on the need for the tests. I finally parted ways and moved my 5 pets to a different vet earlier this year after surgical treatment was advised for 3 of the pets at a significant cost. I obtained a second opinion from two independent vets as the 'need' for surgery came out of the blue and neither of the vets agreed that the treatments were required. It was the final straw. When I telephoned to say why I was moving to another vet, they were completely disinterested. A real shame to see the practice focus on money instead of animals.

This is a fantastic vet can't recommend it enough, they are realistic about prices they are upfront about costs and no hidden costs they have been so good with rabbit and the only vet we have been to who would let us be part of their pet plan with an older animal. They were so kind and respectful when we had to put her down and made the process so supportive. Thank you and I recommend this vet highly, I've been with many vets over the years and this is the best I've been with! Hope they stay open forever! Thank you!

Have been using Riverside veterinary clinic in Callander since they opened a number of years ago, and although quite recently changed ownership, the quality of the service and support have remained constant. They do their best to accommodate at short notice and seem to genuinely care about their patients, always knowing who they are upon mentioning their name. When requesting preventative medication, it is normally available to collect the next day. I wouldn't consider taking my dog to another practice when he is poorly.

We have been going to Riverside Vets since 2009 following a recommendation from a friend. Even though we have moved further away, we would not want to go anywhere else. The staff are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable and we have always felt our pets are in safe hands. Thank you to all the team.
