I re-joined Dalblair after leaving for a vac-for-life offer with my three cats. I rejoined due to their excellent policy on Brucellosis Canis, because they would still treat my adopted, Bosnian rescue had he been positive. Gizmo was negative but I moved him anyway as three other vets in Ayr would have PTS. I then moved my other dog to them when she became ill and the cost of tests and treatment had become prohibitive at another practice. Their care of Leia was fantastic. Sadly, we had to PTS as she became so unwell. She saw two vets but Angela gave most of her care and PTS with great compassion and dignity. Leia’s heart and brain were affected by whatever was going on and even as she went, Angela reassured us that she wouldn’t be aware of what was going on and said we had done the right thing. I collected her ashes today and got great comfort in the nose and paw prints and a little lock of hair the vet nurses had carefully taken. Their £36 care plan (£38 soon) gives great peace of mind and their prices are reasonable for all treatment and medication. I would recommend them every day. Every member of staff, from reception, to nurses to vets are friendly, caring people who clearly love their jobs.

I usually go to the Prestwick branch but came here because they are opened on a Saturday. I phoned before 9am and still got an appt an hour later which was great. The vet is very thorough and informative. Fantastic vet!

We moved from a different vet practice, as my cat was severely traumatised (under the bed for two weeks!). Now when he is back from Dalblair he sleeps and then plays happily with his toys! The Dalblair vets, and reception staff are compassionate about their work. They are able to manage my cat in the way that he allows them to be checked! Thank you 😸
