We took our kitten along to Exclusively Cats as our own vet (now our previous vet) couldn't tell us what was wrong with our kitten but on both visits suggested we put her to sleep. Within 5 minutes of our consultation at Exclusively Cats we were told what was wrong with our kitten and that she could live quite happily as she is. We will now be registering our other 6 Cats at Exclusively Cats Veterinary Practice.

We decided to look to Exclusively Cats to have our six month old tabby, Sisko, neutered. The consultation beforehand (free of charge, by the way) made us feel like we were in the safest of hands. The vet reassured us that surgery on our cryptorchid cat would be simple and that we were correct to get a second opinion. Sisko even got a treat at the end! On the day of the operation, they made sure to rehash exactly what would happen, as well as taking the time to ensure Sisko was as calm as possible. It turned out that he didn't need the more invasive (more expensive) abdominal surgery thanks to our surgeon, who was able to "descend" his testicle pre op. It's great to know that these guys have the expertise and ethics to put animal welfare before profit. When it came to payment, the prices were very, very reasonable. Thank you, Exclusively Cats.

Recently switched from the vets I have been with for years because they've become extreme corporate! Call centre and everything... Exclusively cats is owned and run by a couple who clearly care about cats. The staff are wonderful, extremely friendly and I could tell straight away with how Steven was with my kittens that moving here was an excellent choice, despite the travel. I cannot wait to meet Rebecca and also bring Theo in to meet the team!

When I got my cats protection kitten, he was already registered with Exclusively Cats for treatment he required as a tiny kitten, so I decided to stay at the practice seeing as they knew his medical history well. In the past week they have shown me exactly why they have such fantastic reviews and I would like to sing their praises too. He went in for a castration on Friday, and by Saturday night he had managed to burst open the wound (no fault of the practice - think rambunctious kitten 🙄), I knew it wasnt an emergency but needed treated, and was unsure if it could wait til Monday. I contacted the out of hours number, and after a chat and sending through a photo, they offered to do a quick check out of hours on a Sunday morning and give me some medication to tide him by, before getting him back in on the Monday morning the operate. Thouroughly impressed throughout. Nothing was too much hassle for them, I never felt rushed, time was taken to explain things in great detail, even out of hours everything was very reasonable. They went above and beyond, and from my few visits since registering in January, i get the impression that this is how they are, they consistently go above and beyond. Genuinely care. Make time. And love cats! Photo attached of said rambunctious kitten, now cursed with the cone of shame to prevent further mishaps this time 😂

I can’t even put into words how amazing the vets at Exclusively Cats are. For half a year, my previous vet kept insisting that my cat had idiopathic cystitis. Manoll’s condition kept getting worse. He was prescribed strong antidepressants, which ended up with us spending the night at an emergency clinic because he had a neurological episode. After that incident, we decided to seek a second opinion at Exclusively Cats — and it was the best decision we could’ve made. Their approach was professional, thorough, and incredibly empathetic. The difference in care was huge. Within one day, all necessary tests were done, a proper diagnosis was made — urinary stones — and Manoll underwent surgery. The postoperative care was top-notch, and they also continued diagnostics to prevent the stones from forming again. Exclusively Cats is run by professionals who genuinely care about their small patients. Thank you to the entire team — you are the best. I will never go back to my old vet. I’d rather make the trip to Ayr and know my cats are receiving the best care possible.

Brilliant experience with this vet, such a calm cat centric environment, no noisy barking dogs to frighten the cats. Brilliant consultation with very patient and thorough vet Steven who took the time to explain in great detail the possible causes of my cats atopic dermatitis, and to work out a short and medium term treatment plan. Would thoroughly recommend this vet for any cat owners who find the normal melee of an all animal vet distressing for their cat. It's great that they only see cats, you get the feeling at other vets that sometimes you're seeing a vet that would be more at home working with farm animals and doesn't really talk or understand cat - not here!

We've previously used Vets4Pets for our cats and for most of that time they've been perfectly fine. However, when our aged cat developed joint problems we were underwhelmed by the level of service/lack of thoughtfulness during the consultation. We arranged for an appointment with Exclusively Cats for a second opinion and received a very comprehensive consultation with Steven. The difference between Steven and the previous vet could not have been more stark. We're now receiving treatment for our cat's arthritis-related pain and can already see the benefits. I highly recommend Steven and Exclusively Cats.
