Had a really good night at the Alba Vet first aid event. It was very informative with lots of visual information and hands on involvement. The hall was well laid out and well organised with free tea and coffee plus there was home baking on offer for a donation to an animal charity. I was very impressed to see that they had all the baked goods labelled for allergens and I was able to buy gluten free cake and cookies. We were also given a goody bag containing bandaging materials, dog treats and an information booklet covering all of the information available within the venue. All in all it was a very worthwhile event and I would strongly recommend any pet owner to go along to the next one

Albavet care. I realise vets are a business, but Albavet actually care. You don't get the impression it's about money. They hold information nights, behavioural clinics, etc. to help us humans help our animals. I cannot fault them, and it helps that my cat enjoys her check up visits!

All of the staff at Albavet, and in particular Nicki and Katy, go above and beyond for their patients. We have never felt so supported, from the moment we met them to the more challenging conversations we had to have, every moment they had our beautiful boy’s best interests at heart and spoke to us with compassion and care. We were never made to feel like a burden and the care was outstanding every time. We cannot fault them and we’re so grateful to them.

Very terrible people! Do not care about the animals at all!! Only care about money! Made mistakes and unwilling to take any responsibility for these!!!!

Been using Albavet since I moved to Dunfermline 3 years ago and can't fault them, great friendly service for all our cats at reasonable prices. Whether it's all the staff gushing over how cute your ginger kitten is (and how much they've enjoyed getting cuddles off him whilst he's been in!) or just sending a card when one of our cats has died (even once when we didn't get the chance to take them to the vet and just had to tell them over the phone after the fact) Albavet always seem to add that extra personal touch that is so appreciated. Thanks so much.

Phoned yesterday about an hour before closing because my cat was suddenly really unwell. There was only 1 vet at that time dealing with 2 emergency appointments already but they agreed to take us regardless of the fact they closed soon. The vet Katy was very helpful and thorough and gave our cat what he needed. She also gave us some important advice and her knowledge helped us feel less anxious. She (and another lady whose name I unfortunately can’t remember) ended up staying an extra hour past closing time to make sure our cat got the help he needed and to ensure we left with all of our questions answered. Thanks for your help and care, Katy!
